As A Royal Flush continues to grow, our company remains committed to supporting and championing the efforts of members of our team as they find organizations that contribute to the health of our company and our employees.
Colleen Cingel is a member of our team who approaches this goal with focused attention on organizations, charities, nonprofits, and events that boast an admirable, positive mission. As our New Business Development Manager, Colleen was the driving force behind our ownership team’s attendance at a recent Hudson County Chamber of Commerce event titled: Women’s Equality Conference which was Presented by the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce; Women’s Council.
The incredible event, which featured a panel of speakers that included our own female owner Katie Antonucci, served as an example of how a woman-owned business such as A Royal Flush can contribute to the conversation around women in leadership roles in industries that are typically male-dominated. A Royal Flush is a WBENC certified business.
The event’s keynote speaker was New Jersey State Senator Loretta Weinberg, a pillar of empowerment for women whose long career championing the equality of women through legislation has been an inspiration to many. During Weinberg’s illustrious career, she was a primary sponsor of legislation supporting same-sex marriage, an equal-pay law for women, and fought for insurers to pay for at least 48 hours of hospital care for new mothers.
We know at ARF that companies that are committed to higher levels of gender and ethnic diversity do more business and generate more revenue than companies that don’t. While the challenges of COVID have proven to be substantial, A Royal Flush has witnessed a steady growth in its client base.
Our focus on initiatives such as supporting women in business, women in leadership roles, and mentoring and employment opportunities for women have been at the forefront of our efforts.
Another example of the exceptional efforts of our sales team is Colleen’s recent membership to the Professional Women in Construction. This organization offers mentorship, support, and guidance to women in another typically male-dominated arena. The PWC New Jersey Chapter introduced Colleen to Jill Nappi, the Director of Business Development at Rizco, and both women have found “…a friendship and business relationship that has been flourishing on so many levels…” Nappi said.
Our team at A Royal Flush understands that providing great customer service and products is not our only measure of success. The efforts of our team to cultivate a positive, charitable, supportive role for ARF to play in this industry are equally as important.
We continue to be actively involved in our community – locally and nationally – and be proud of what we’re doing across the board for the greater good.
Keep it up, Team! To stay up to date with What We’re Doing be sure to follow us @aroyalflush.
